I just finished watching This is It tonight. And whatever your opinions on his lifestyle, his unconventional upbringing, his decisions and his past… You have to admit, the man is the epitome of magic.
Even with just documentary type footage and the “work in progress” production, he brings a certain brilliance to each performance. With the gentle soul who brought entertainment and love to the songs we’ve known to love, we were given a glimpse of what an amazing concert he would have performed. An unprecedented sold out 50 concert tour? I have no doubt would have been sensational.
Although many have tried to duplicate his beats, his rhythm, his lyrics - no one will ever come remotely close. I am glad to have lived in an era where the King of Pop sang and danced into our hearts. He may not be living with us now, but his presence and his music will live on forever. Maybe we can pick up where he left off and together, we can heal the world.
